Schools for Haiti

For the past 2 years Matt and Cindy White have been involved with Schools for Haiti.  The six schools that Schools for Haiti supports the lives of approximately 1,300 Haitian children. Most of these children would not have an opportunity to go to school if they were not supported.

Many of these children live in make-shift houses and come to school hungry. By providing a healthy nutritious meal five days a week (approximately 230,000 lunches in the school year), we are helping to give these children a better quality of life.  Matt and Cindy currently sponsor a little girl named Alia and sponsored the "Rock School". The school has large classrooms , a basketball court and a purified water system.  Since taking it over, we have built a kitchen and refurbished the bathrooms.
